Metaverse TV (MBC) is opening its beautiful sim at Metverse Island on October 3rd and you are all invited. Events start at 3pm SLT and carry on right through until 8.30pm SLT with SpaceJunky coming on stage at 7.30pm SLT for their concert and pyrotechnics show that includes giveaways during the performance.

It’s 2009. Why are people are still paying for mp3 downloads when there is an abundance of awesome music available for free? Digital music is becoming more free by the minute. There is music that you can download for free—legally or illegally—and there is music that you can stream for free. I support bands that are giving their tracks away for free.

Fans want to connect with musicians. Musicians want to connect with fans. Fans want to connect with fans. How are they all connecting in 2009? Social platforms such as Twitter, Ustream, and Facebook allow artists to communicate and interact directly with their fans. Direct communication bridges the abyss dug by decades of record label domination.

Event: On 9/18 SpaceJunky will have a big celebration at Planet 7 on SpaceJunky Island. The whole sim has been redesigned as a beautiful floating crystal city and SpaceJunky will perfom a concert at the main stage at 7pm. There will be other events that night too, and special freebies from the stores—including fashion designs exclusive to the island.

Cosmic Vision is a music video featuring Shakti Cianci—from the band SpaceJunky—at the piano. It is from her solo, piano meditation album, “7 Tears of Tara”, by Crystal Gypsy. The video features a cameo by Avenue CEO Rusch Raymaker, as well as other AlphaCrew members.
