November doesn’t usually get a lot of hype in the world of music—I’m here to change that with a massive set of rock music photos—mostly they’re live because that’s the way rock is meant to be heard. Two of the shows I went to, and the rest I wish I did. Includes everything from ‘underground’ through Smashing Pumpkins and spans New Jersey, Brazil, Dublin, Barcelona, and more. (25 photos total)

New school and old school collide here. New Music Seminar in New York last week was a 2.5 day collision of industry minds talking strategy and technology in today’s music market. You’ll see a mix of photos from the discussions and performances which included the Artist On The Verge contest, where three bands from OurStage were voted on to perform and compete—Yonas, Comic Book Heroes, and HotSpur. 28 photos

I’ll be representing VirtualMusic.tv at this year’s New Music Seminar in New York—a music business geared TED-like event. It’ll be my first time at NMS—I’m stoked to hear ideas and meet people. There’s a lineup of keynote speakers during the day and performances at night. I’ll recap with an editorial. If you’re going—I’d love to meet ya’. Tip: promo code nmsny10 might still work for 2-for-1.
