Anti-P2P = Denying Reality Now

When it comes to music, value is in the ear of the listener. Value is always decided by the market. It’s a fundamental economics principle that Universal Music Group and the RIAA can’t seem to grasp—at least based on their latest propaganda initiative against music piracy in the US called Music Rights Now, which would be more appropriately named Denying Reality Now. Do they think they can change human nature?

Music Blogging Throwdown—Evading DMCA Takedowns

Dubbed musicblogocide2k10 Google deleted at least six known music blogs from its Blogger platform. Google posted an official response highlighting their current procedures for handling DMCA complaints that were last updated last summer—Google implies that they warn offending bloggers but cite difficulty contacting offenders in the past. They also include the link for filing a DMCA counter claim.
